The wife and I love Big Texas. Easy to catch concerts there if you are into the live music. They have a good sized race track dance floor that goes around an inner bar. 4 bars plus beer tubs so plenty of places to get drinks. Have a decent array of music so it's not just country. They also have a karaoke room if you are into signing your own tune haha. Always a good time. If you are looking for a good country dance hall I recommend here
I just had one of the best nights here! People were friendly and taught me how to dance. The music was great stayed country for the most part and switched over to some rap/pop music for a short time. They have a pool area and karaoke! Which the guy that runs the karaoke area was so sweet! Unfortunately I did not have anything to drink but if you are military (active, retired, reserve, or just plain out) you get your first drink free just have to show proof and if that ain't something special I don't know what is. I had a great time and will be returning soon!
Omg, all I have to say is why did it take me so long to check this place out?! I've lived in the area for 11 years and always wondered what it was all about each time I went to the movies. This place is a pretty big dance hall. Last night was Battle of the Bands. I went with a few of my co-workers for a night of music and dancing. By dancing, I mean two steppin'. SO. MUCH. FUN. There's a bar on both sides of the stage area and smack dab in the middle. Ask for anything you like! Around the center bar is the dance floor. My friend described it as a two steppin' lazy river. Lol. Grab a drink, grab a friend/partner/bf/gf/spouse, and dance the night away! They have pool tables, a place to sit and get your shoes shined, concerts, karaoke, and country dance lessons every Wednesday night. It's a fun place to be carefree. Even if you don't know how, just get on the dance floor and try. I did. Haha. And, it gave me a good excuse to be close to my crush. Take a date or make a friend there. Hey, you never know if you'll meet someone! ;)
Very Texas like ! Igor to 2 step for first time around the hall, or the dance floor. Very cool and unique spot lots of cowboys and cheap drinks. Cool spot when it's busy !!!
